Finally last September 8 9 and 10. A total of 8 Shows in 3 consecutive days. The CAP auditorium was jam packed of audience. Sold out tickets were proof of success. The labor of hard-work and physical exhaustion for all the cast and crew finally paid off. I'm so happy that somehow I was of help and a witness in this Epic.

Never I have thought that Lion King will be staged in Metro Iloilo. I am not going to be biased because I have friends who joined in this ambitious play. Even at the back of my head I kept on saying that this wont work.. hmm.. but, maybe YES because it will attract younger audience. I'm wrong - because it was a SUCCESS. I'm lucky that I got to witness their run-through and practices. The actors were actually good though not all. The props were well thought of. Of course, it should be the props that will carry the play. You can never be a lion, a hyena, or an elephant without it. Special Shout out to Scar - his portrayal left me in awe. He was very effective in a devilish way. Also to the Hyenas they are really carnivore freak!!!. Pumba and Timon, their tandem is a hit and a crowd-pleaser.
