Cebu Day 1

As planned since August. My Cebu trip finally happened. Its been more than 3 years since my feet landed on the soil of Cebu and its exhilarating that once again I'm back. It was a gloomy Thursday afternoon (Oct. 28, 2010) when I left Iloilo for Cebu. I'm so excited that day, that I did not even get enough sleep the night before. My flight was delayed for half an hour because of the weather. Finally when we are called for boarding I was shocked and got disappointed that our plane is small. I never tried a small plane. I got scared and unease. We were instructed to walk for like 30 meters to the aircraft with an umbrella on my hand because it was raining. I was cursing and bad mouthing the airline not minding a guy in front of me with a kid hearing all the profanity from my unstoppable mouth. Even the flight attendant heard me say *%$ Ina! The worst part is that when I sat on my chair I noticed that its getting hot and sweat is taking its tool on me. Major torture should I say.

I arrived at the MCI airport past 6pm. I took a cab going to Mango Park Hotel which I will be staying for 3 days and 2 night. The traffic in Mactan and in Cebu is also a torture. A lot has changed from the infrastructure to the streets and even the traffic. I got to my hotel past 7pm which should normally be 30 minutes. As soon as I got to the Hotel, I freshen up and headed to Ayala Center to meet up with friends. I was happy and mesmerized when I see how Ayala Center turn out to be like Greenbelt. The terraces is new to me and I must admit I feel in love with the place. Its the place I'd love to be in my "moments" day where I could sit and just watch passers by.

After Formo. We decided to head at the hotel to rest for tomorrow is another day. But to my dismay I never get to sleep. Not even a power nap. I'm a living Zombie the next day. Will blog the continuation on my next entry.
