If you come to think of it, the Philippines is one of those countries which somehow openly accepts the third sex.  However, despite the efforts of many members of the third sex to achieve and excel in society, there are some bad apples who waste their opportunities to prove their worth and just cry foul or discrimination when they get fired or something.  Personally,  I believe that we should not put a demarcation line based on sexual orientation; some are straight and good, some are gay and good; some are straight but bad, some are gay and bad.  Contribution to society should be given more merit at the end of the day.
